Aisling Bea

Aisling was born March 16, 1984, at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and popular comedians. The comedian has appeared featured on QI, with Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh, also known as Aisling "Bea" is a famous Irish writer and actor. Her birth date was the 16th of March 1984. Bea began her stand-up comedy career in 2011after having appeared in bits in several Irish television shows and British series since 2009. In 2012, she started to appear regularly on sketch and sitcoms. In 2012, after she received an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA), she started to appear regularly in various panel programs. In 2016 and 2017, she served as a team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. She is also an actress on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents include Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. She has a younger sister, Sinead. She was the winner of the So You Believe You're Funny Award for the second time. Bea's surname is in honour of her father who passed away. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born on April 16, 1984 in Kildare Town, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian is an equine veterinarian who committed suicide when she was only three years old. Bea didn't learn how the death of her father occurred until she turned thirteen. Her stage name Bea was in tribute to her father. Bea was the author of an opinion piece for The Guardian, published in 2017, about her experience of suicide. Bea as well as her younger sister Sinead and her sister Sinead, were brought up in the home of Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) an ex-jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. The family was awed by racing, horses and racing. Bea was a child a tour guide for the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she was not interested in the racing industry. Instead, she was drawn to the performing arts.
